Curious by Nature, Strategic by Choice

Hello! I am Yoonhyuk Cho, a high school researcher and aspiring venture strategist passionate about exploring how deep-tech innovations, market dynamics, and global storytelling intersect. While my academic curiosity naturally leads me to complex scientific questions, my ultimate goal is always the same: finding ways to translate technical solutions into meaningful, real-world market value.

My journey began in the research lab, where I learned to ask big questions and tackle them through quantitative data. Over the past few years, this passion has driven me to explore diverse fields—ranging from AI-driven healthcare models and space debris clearing systems to hydrogen energy efficiency and sports analytics. Earning international gold medals at Euroinvent, WICO, iCAN, and AI-JAM ASIA, alongside publishing my research on AI in education in the LEIET journal, taught me the power of rigorous analysis and problem-solving.

But for me, research was only the first piece of the puzzle. I realized that even the most brilliant technology needs a strategic business bridge to reach the people who need it most.

To test this belief in the real world, I stepped into global field marketing and social entrepreneurship as the Outreach & Marketing Lead for the Laos National Baseball Team project. Working closely with local partners, I led media storytelling initiatives to raise international awareness for local athletes. To build long-term sustainability beyond simple volunteering, I structured social crowdfunding campaigns (Kickstarter/Wadiz) and designed corporate ESG sponsorship frameworks that align business goals with social impact.

Today, I continuously bridge these two worlds: diving deep into startup business models (BM), top-down macroeconomic trends, and capital-raising strategies, while keeping my hands-on execution skills sharp in the field.

As I prepare for the next step in my academic and professional journey, I am eager to keep building, analyzing, and launching initiatives that create both financial value and positive global change. Welcome to my portfolio—I hope you enjoy exploring the projects that shape my vision!

3. Sustainable Social Value

  • True business success aligns financial value with social impact, creating self-sustaining ecosystems like corporate ESG sponsorships for emerging markets.
